40 year-old shot dead by police. Body cameras NOT ON.

She called 911 because of noises in a dark alley. The encounter occurred in the alley. Best guess is she went to investigate and may have armed herself. That would be unfortunate because the please did not know she called 911.

Still, if the police have a reason she was shot--brandishing a weapon in the dark?--they still should have had the cameras on. They have no excuse for having them off. One way or another, the two police need to be disciplined.

She was not a citizen or an immigrant.

No weapon found at the scene, so don't think she had a gun. And the officer shot across his partner through the drivers window (he was the passenger), which is really strange and doesn't seem like common practice. Unless they thought she was an immediate threat, which is hard to believe, this shooting does not seem justified. And of course body cameras not on.

It seems that there were two 911 calls. One from the woman who was shot about a noise in an alley. A second about a woman screaming in the alley. Who was the screaming woman?

Remember....MOST conservatives are RACIST and they will NEVER defend a black man shooting a white woman.

One of my cousins has been headhunted by an American company on a four year contract.

I have told her that under no circumstances should she call American police to report a robbery, any crime witnessed or assault against her personally as this will result in more deadly peril and risk to her own personal safety than any ill-fated outcome of the original crime.

Body cameras and videos have now shifted the litmus test for police murdering innocent people to: "I felt scared" which is all that's needed now to murder someone, leading to no prosecution.

Waiting for wheel chaired G'parents to get shot for being scary. Everyone is so scary when you are shooting them to death.. what a coincidence.

This is an absolute shame/tragedy.

But it is amusing watching the Left go crazy trying to figure out how to spin their narrative. Obviously they want to demonize police as usual, but in doing so they risk looking racist or xenophobic as this cop was a Somali immigrant.

This was poor police work and the shooter should no longer be a police officer. No soin necessary.

The cops who murdered a distraught son in tony Hingham MA last week were quite white.

As are the vast majority of cops who kill.
