Some of the most obvious doping violators are coming out of Botswana and South Africa recently. Why is WADA turning a blind eye?

Dopers!
At 30??
The US is no longer the leading sprints nation. The decline continues as Jamaica, South Africa and Botswana take over. American men will only win the pole vault at the worlds, and even that isn't a lock.
The "Caster Effect"...free pass for SA
#1 Makwala has terrible rounds management. He's not as likely to nab a medal in the 400 as Lashawn Merritt, Fred Kerley, Steven Gardiner or Sibanda. In the 200, he's not beating DeGrasse, Webb, Blake or even Mitchell Blake for that matter.
#2 After Bolt retires, Jamaica wont be winning any flat sprint on the mens side, even with Yohan Blake in the mix.

This is correct, South Africa has gone from being controlled by Confederate-type racists to a Zimbabwe-type system where the politicians & bureaucrats are horrendously corrupt. My guess is that those running Athletics South Africa are complicit in the cheating, giving athletes a heads up to "random tests." SA though is an ideal geography, the higher altitudes allow speed athletes to do slightly quicker pbs that get them into bigger European races. The weather is ideal all year round (pretty much).

At the IAAF World Challenge in Madrid today. Should be a favorite for silver at worlds.
Oh and Van Niekerk going 19.4 anytime soon is a joke.
19.68 to tie Fredrick's African record at the very best.

Not with his rounds management. He's not beating DeGrasse, Webb or Blake in the 200. Not beating Kerley, Merritt, Gardiner or Sibanda in the 400m. He'll be finalist in either/both events though.

Is this the quickest 200/400 double in one day?
QUICKEST 200/400 double in one day? I almost would say it's the ONLY 200/400 doubly in one day (of some significance). Really, when at all has someone run these two events on the same day? I doubt someone has run sub 45 and sub 20.5 on same day.
kid
i like you
you are smart, very smart
but cool it...

Makwala is not currently in the IAAF's testing pool, once he is, you will see a drop off in his performances.

Look no farther than Makwala himself who did a 19.96/44.01 double back in 2014 in Switzerland

My mistake, he is from Botswana and is in the testing pool (I thought he was from South Africa as he trains there). But he will be on something.

19.77
must be nonsense !!!
utter total fluke !!!
to run 19.77 in one of the greatest cities on earth, which held prestigious iaaf meet before & once bid for games, is a
"fluke" ???
Where was this race? Remember, he had the WL coming into Beijing '15 and was a non-factor.

Agreed. I could see 19.6/7, but I would be very surprised to see him go sub-19.5 under perfect conditions. And he'll be running the 200 after the 400 (I'm assuming), and he has a reputation of destroying himself. I guess he could manage himself and just go for the win, but I'm hoping he'll focus on going sub-43.
