Always the fav, didn't realize the world was only 8:04.8 though, that's pretty slow

No, Jager is the fav.
Women's 400m about to start.
lol Caster trying to bolster image again.
There we go. When employees tell me they think Semenya is sandbagging and can go way faster, Ive been telling them, "I don't think so anymore." We just go proof.
She's a 155 runner. She's going all out in those 800s. Man did she look awful in that 400.

Rowbury at 4:04 is not bad but for her, she is usually in sub 4 shape now. Is Rabat at some altitude? What is wrong with Rowbury is probably that she has not been doing the usually 1500m speedwork, because she's been planning to turn to the 5000m, and you can't do both at the same time if you are not keeping in touch with your speed as much. Nice result for Martinez, a pr, and remember that 1) that 3x400m, 1x300m workout probably killed her legs for weeks, and 2) it had little or nothing to do with running the 1500m. Wait and see what kind of 800m she runs if she's at Monaco.
Rowbury didn't run under 4:04 until after the Olympics last year, but in 2016. she did run 3:56.29 on July 17th to set the American record.

She looked awful because she wanted to look awful. Why would she want to win here? She would look even more invincible and lower her chances of being able to compete with elevated testosterone levels in the coming years. She might not have won, but she looked like she purposefully sabotaged herself the first 200m.

Or maybe she was sandbagging that 400 as well. I respect someone who travels to Rabat and runs a crappy 400 in order to make her 800 times look less sandbaggy. That's dedication that you don't see out of a lot of today's youth. That's what it takes to be an Olympic Champion and not get ruled ineligible due to your manliness.

For once, I agree with rojo. I don't think Caster is unbeatable for other women in the 800m...Ajee Wilson has a shot at gold, I think.

CAS decision coming up. Was she here to race? Or here to play to the press. That back of pack result looks a lot better than blowing the field away. Plays to what Ross Tucker was saying about 4% vs 10-12%. She's making a case she's a 4. After the 400 all the other gals were on their knees catching their breath and Semenya was waking around trying to shake hands per usual.... Didn't seem like an all out effort... now whether it was 90% or 50% is unknown .
I knew this BS would start lol

So how did she manage a 50/ 1:58 double?
WTF was that?
3000 was exciting with the crowd into it but the highlight was the false start and rabbit running 150m without stopping. Shows how bad most rabbits are, not having any clue where the field is.
Iguider is BACK BABY! He will medal at World's!
Caster ran splits of 25.3/26.2 - she was definitely sandbagging that race

Note how Jenny Meadows did a good job as always.
I thought EPO had been banned, not so sure anymore after watching a recent race.
In terms of the men's steeple, it looked to me like Kipruto hurdled the first water jump and landed a bit awkwardly as he soon put his head down and let everyone come by him.
