But yes, she would have been better off, had she not heard the doorbell. Maybe she opened the door because she was expecting mail? Or the tester stood all of a sudden in front of her in the training camp? Or she hoped she wouldn't glow anymore?
I did they even find her? I thought a lot of the Kenyans disappear into their rural home villages after competitions? I recall seeing a documentary where testers have a difficult time finding these athletes in their rural villages where so many of villagers have the same last name. Some of these places aren’t even on the map. Lol.
