😒
He eats pizza with a knife and fork. That's all I got from watching his "Driven" documentary. His insane mileage isn't what pierced me. His pizza with a fork did.
😖
Good for him though.
Respect to Cam
Cameron Levins moves from NOP to Eric Houle
I'm very happy to see this great news, and wish for both to have the great success they deserve!
This. This will be good for Cam.
Thank goodness.
Now we just need to hear from Mary Cain
I'm a big Cam fan, sucks to see him injured and not on top of his game. Hopefully this works out for him. I never though NOP was a good fit for him although he did improve.
Did he run at Canadian trials?
He was never the priority there, yet he got away from the ridiculous mileage and ran outstanding times with Salazar. When Nike guys are injured for a protracted time, they aren't really wanted anymore, it seems to me. Being fodder for Rupp doesn't work when you're injured for a couple years. I hope he excels in training again with his college coach and presumably living at altitude all the time again.

Respect for what? He stuck with them for 5 years and only left them once he wasn't performing (and once his wife graduated from Portland, most likely).
If he were still running fast, he'd stick with them. Nothing sacrificed.
yeah real respect there wrote:

Please trust me on this: You do not know wtf you are talking about.
Is he back in Utah training? Does he need a work visa? Is his wife a Canuck?

Sorry to disappoint, I know exactly what I'm talking about. Cam's wife (then fiancee) moved to Portland for school. Cam moved with and joined NOP. Cam had 5 years to leave if he didn't like what he was seeing. Now that his wife is done with school and he's underperforming he may as well move on. Completely practical and self-serving move, nothing deserving of "respect."

This. Stop talking.
I LEFT NIKE !
34 years ago when they dumped me with their other lower performers to support their medal hopefuls.....
Ahhhhh,
Same thing here Rico.
I cried for a few days....then moved on.
Only on Letsrun would someone make the argument Cam left because of doping the same year they bring in Sifan Hassan, Craig Engels and if rumours are true Clayton Murphy.

Most of it.
Makes NO sense at all that he's not training with Moh Ahmed
