Fixed and sorry that your dad cant pay for a better ranking.
Does anyone know the incoming classes for the WIAC schools?
Based on the depth charts listed, some pretty good programs look to be in trouble if they don't get some impactful rookies.
You better include Wisconsin Track Club on this, they did win NIRCA Track nationals this past season. They always have a few top guys that could be running WIAC but want the Madison education. Also the club usually finds at least one post collegiate athlete at grad school there that ends up running on the team.

I looked at their website and MooCow is right. There are a few on that team that could even help make Marquette and Milwaukee relevant again.
Somebody just brought this up in a WIAC thread about Whitewaters team for this fall. 2017 rosters are starting to pop up here and there on tfrrs.
https://xc.tfrrs.org/leagues/1420.html
Noticed Whitewater will be a much better squad this fall. No official roster from La Crosse or Eau Claire yet.
https://xc.tfrrs.org/teams/xc/WI_college_m_Wis_Parkside.html
Also noticed that Parkside didn't exactly set the world on fire with their 2017 recruiting class. Its too bad they didn't stockpile any talent because of this news too.......
They're already located in the middle of nowhere, this news could have some major ramifications for the program going forward.

First week of competition in the books. The MU vs. LAX debate is wide open. These two teams are almost the same through 10 guys. I would give the edge to Marquette because their star power is better, but you could argue it either way at this point. MU is at Parkside this weekend and LAX is at UWW, should be interesting to see how things shake out.
I think head to head La Crosse would take Marquette. When healthy Miller should win but La Crosse might put 5 in front of MU's two. Also, I cant believe how bad some of the bottom runners are on Marquette's team. They are pretty freaking bad for a "D1" school.

I'm not sure where in your rankings that Carthage College (Kenosha) lands, but it is a great school with great facilities and an incredibly picturesque campus located on the shores of Lake Michigan.
A was Once a Runner at Carthage College, and if I had to do it all over, I would go Again to Carthage.
Carthage runners unite! Wonder what today's private college ranking in Wisconsin look like

That's a homer comment if I've ever seen one. These two races were seperated by what 400ish meters? 24 man depth doesn't mean anything, only 5 guys score. Depth of a team is measured by your top 8-10 guys. Marquette has a better top 5, and top 7-10, after that, who really cares? These DIII>DI teams comments are getting old. Take a look at Program Top 10 lists in the distance events at these schools, Marquette is a better program than La Crosse.
Don't be an echochamber for your school pride and obvious inferiority complex, be objective and realistic.
Hear are the facts as it pertains to MU vs. LAX
1. La Crosse is a really good DIII program year in and year out, they might even win an xc national championship team this year.
2. Marquette is an under performing DI program that has no ambition or sign of stepping up to a competitive regional level, much less national level.
3. Marquette has a better top 10 and would beat La Crosse in any cross country meet this year, and virtually any other year.
4. La Crosse is a better athlete developmental program, with better coaches, that gets more out of their athletes even though they are working with inferior talent.
5. Marquette will always be the better team because they have better resources (bigger budget, scholarship money, Big East athletics, etc.) to recruit better talent. Law of averages shows, better talent in a crappy DI equals a slightly better (yet still pathetic for DI) set of historical performances than an "elite DIII program" (which La Crosse most certainly is).
All of these things can and do exist at the same time. Refuting these facts is just delusional.
**Yes, I know you will be looking for a hole in my argument. ie: Basically all the WIAC schools have a better program history and current roster than UWM. To that I say, obviously there is no reasonable way to defend the stupidity that occurs on an annual basis on the Lower East Side. In that case, DIII>DI is correct. Don't confuse mediocre DI (Marquette) to dumpster fire DI (UWM). Trust me, I hate Marquette just as much or more than any of you, but Marquette is better than LAX.
Lacrosse would shit all over Marquette

This is La Crosse's best team ever and they still couldn't match up to Marquette
I'll tell the jokes here
My boys looked like studs this past weekend, they weren't even pushing it and they crushed everyone. La Crosse would have been embarrassed if they had to face us. But they're a bunch of pansies who dodge competition all year so they can beat up on rec runners and feel better about themselves for not having the talent to run DI. The gap between Marquette and La Crosse is only going to get wider because Nelson is a better coach.

Your top boys ran the equivalent of 15:30 - 16:00 5ks on some pancake in FIBland. If they were such studs theyd be about a minute faster. These guys arent very good and you must be in denial because La Crosse has the better everything.
