Other regions got their threads up so why not us? Team/individual predictions?

CMU, Haverford, Hopkins (1,2,3)
Franciscan University of Steubenville has a great upcoming freshman class along with experienced runners. They could have a shot at making a run.
Whats the point, cmu chokes at regionals, chokes at nationals. Other teams arent good. So it goes
Hopkins will go home devastated.

Integrity.
I know DYoung wants to get up in this thread with an extensive mideast region preview
We can only hope
Individual, the soon to be sophomore from Widener. He will be on a weak team, but he had a great track season.
Hopkins and Haverford will be very very strong. Both are top 10 or outside trophy teams. I see Dickinson getting back in the mix this year. On paper, CMU is not that same team this year. 4th-5th in the ME at best. No sign of a strong 4 or 5 runner for them. York could actually be 4th again and pass CMU.
1. Haverford
2. Hopkins
3. York
4. CMU
5. Dickinson
6. Etown
Any individual predictions?

Henry Woods will win and will be 16th at nationals
Softboy Dylan Gearinger will probably be the best runner in the region this year but I doubt he will run at regionals. Rumor has it he can't handle too much racing.
Predictions for top individuals based off last year?
Here are my thoughts on the top 10 or so based on their racing through the end of the spring last year:
Henry Woods, Haverford (14:26 5K, 22nd at 2016 NCAA xc championship)
Dylan Gearinger, Haverford (14:33 5K)
Alex Smith, York (9:04 steeple, NCAA qualifier)
Scott Pourshalchi, Hopkins (3:54 1500, probable #1 guy on Region's best team)
Greg Morgan, Haverford (3:51.00 1500, NCAA finalist)
Alex Fitch, Misericordia (14:44 5K)
Grant Dell, York (14:46 5K)
Bryce Descavish, Dickinson (14:53 5k, great freshman year)
Corey Mullins, Muhlenberg (2017 All-American in DMR, 2016 NCAA qualifier)
Ben Schott, Messiah (9:16 steeple, 2016 NCAA qualifier)
Frank Liviolsi, Widener (14:48 5k, great freshman year)
Louis Levine, Hopkins (most seasoned competitor on Region's best team)
Ryan Herlihy, Haverford (8th in 2016 Mideast Regional)
Eric Herrmann, Dickinson (3:54 1500, if he races in xc like he did last spring, watch out)
Of course, there are many other guys who will step up this year and surprise us all. I apologize if I've overlooked anyone.
Dylan Gearinger put a 16 second gap on Woods in Haverford's first race this weekend. Ranked among the top d1 finishers from Nova and Penn as well. Might be an early favorite for region champs
anybody have any thoughts after Paul Short this weekend?
