MJs record at altitude to.
Dang.
agreed. he seemed to be 'striding out' or reaching too much with his stride at the last 60-70 m as well. could go faster. he knew it too seeing his reaction

Haha.
Could a sub 30 300 be ran? Could maybe a 2009 Usain Bolt in peak 300m form have done it?
be *RUN, not ranwhy do people speak/write like that?!it sounds so wrong and it is terrible grammar

I think we knew what he meant.
31 years is a long time for a record to stand. Johnny Gray was a special athlete though. I wonder if Korir could have something to say about it with his 44.53 400m pace. Wade might give it a nudge but another 200m is a long way further/farther to go.

What a race. That is so fast.
where is vent/calculo? mr "i know everything about track and field and if you dont agree with me i will quote copy paste 16 paragraphs worth of drivel this, idiot that, is this a joke"
what an idiot.....a week or so ago he was bashing anyone who thought van could run MJ's time in the 200. i used actually times and made logical conclusions
mj ran his 300m wr 6 months after his 400WR
bolt ran his 300 PR 6 months after his berlin WR, and opened that season with a 19.56
van ran 31 flat in route to the 400 WR, so that means he could have beaten the 300WR that day easy. so for anyone who likes to argue with me and tell me im soooooo f*cking dumb (that includes you as well brojos), i predicted van would be very very close to the 400wr or break it, he did, i predicted he would run 19.4s this year, and his 300WR is another proof he will.
oh and tell me again LR's, did korir run faster that 45.5 this year? im too lazy to look it up.

Hilarious!!!!!
World record holder in the 400 and 300 and YOU think you can make him faster!
How many other record holders have you coached?
Moron
Thread useless without video

^^ Someone who never saw MJ run
I want to see van Niekerk attempt to break David Rudisha's 500m world record. Van Niekerk can do it on reserve speed and anaerobic fitness. I have no doubt van Niekerk can maintain 46.0 400m pace for 500m.
You can't think that time is legit. Firstly because all the people in that race (!!) which took place on the road ran huge PRs, secondly because the course was probably downhill. BTW, I have no doubts WVN could break Orestes Rodriguez's world best of 59.32
