No one wants to live paycheck to paycheck, and that's kinda where I'm at. I'm a 20.5year old guy making 13k a year, and no driver's license (have a permit, working on it). Feeling quite like a manchild right now. I've provised a few options...
1.) Stick with this current job. In due time when I do get a license I could get promoted and become a manager, but this'll take time. I'd have to be a manchild for at least another year.
2.) Try applying to other places. There's other entry level jobs that pay much more than what I make where a driver's license isn't a limiting factor. Waste management (garbage collector), server/waiter, a boat cleaning place's offering 70k annually and shouldn't be much worse than what I already do.
3.) Second Job. The only thing detracting me from this is the thought life being just working. A lot of people do this though and still manage to have fun...
4.) A side hustle. There's adult webcamming... Or maybe I could think something less degrading. Maybe start a YouTube channel and teach guitar. Not much money to be made here but it'd supplement my income, so I could actually save money.
5.) Volunteer Firefighter. In my town you have to be 21 to even apply for this position and is the first step to a noble, well paying, and lifelong career.
What do y'all think? If you could suggest other options that'd good too. Thanks for reading
