Thought the subject heading might get the attention of those who think girls aren't here. I would like some perspective on pacing strategy as I am much faster now than I ever have been before and have a race coming up.
I did 3 by mile today as a tune-up workout for a race on the 4th of July. I ran 5:45, 5:40, 5:32 with 90 sec rest but felt ready to run again after 45 seconds. Do you think I am crazy to think I can run mid 17s?
If I would have ran a 5:32 mile a few years ago just by itself I would have been flat on the ground so just want some perspective. At that time I was running 18:20ish.
