Still thinking she should go pro? She couldn't hang with the big dogs the last 100. I really though she had a chance at making the team.

Let two girls go bye on the inside is not a problem move. That being said after the USC 400 runner ran 50.0 and made the team and was the same girl Rodgers beat to win the 4x4 at NCAA's, when they went out in 59 ,and she was on Ajee's shoulder I thought she was going to win. I was wrong.
She's 20.
Plenty of time (hopefully), wondering if she should take a year to focus on the 400 after college?
She's built like Phyllis Francis. Monster sprinter upper legs. Wonder how much distance she did as a youth leaguer.
She was 4th. Should there only be three pro 800m runners in the US? Everyone who's not top 3 should quit?
She has to be gassed neurologically and hormonally from last week. That was a major lifetime stress scenario (even though it went amazing, it still is a major hit to the CNS/hormaonal
system). She was just down from the high.
Look at Deejah Stevens. Had a major axe to grind and ran the fastest ever 200 int that wind in history.
Her pro career is secure.
Considering the long college season/career and probably over racing, she did pretty well. It's tough for a collegiate athlete to be fresh for that meet. The pros had the advantage of rest and taper. She'll be fine. Maybe after some rest, she can get a little more training in and start getting some international experience with a few races this summer and then focus on next year's drive to the top of pro level competition. It's still going to take a few years to become an elite.

She ran 53.36 for 400 and 2:06.90 for 800 as a 12 year old at the same meet, 1 day a part also a 24.32 for 200 at age 13.

Too intense. When should couldn't get past B-Mart she melted down and quit.
I pointed this out after the NCAA's and some poster said that I was basing my opinion on one interview and 10 minutes of observation. Wrong. I have been watching her for 3 years and see the same thing year after year.
She needs to learn to deal with stress. Yes, it has made her successful, to a point. To get to the higher level she needs help.
The race was Sunday. Everyone went home.
She ran very well and lost to some quick runners who race well. She belongs at this level and will show well in future races. She is very young and has a lot of untapped potential in the 800m.

But not everyone went home DEVASTATED!!!
When she arrived home, did she drop to her knees on the driveway and cause an overly dramatic scene there too?
