Sarcasm? I cannot tell.

Centro far from done. Hi talent and motivation are f'ing top notch. This guy's will and natural instinct to win are amazing.
But this may not be his year at worlds. Probably needs to chill and regain his mojo.
And get a new coach. Look, I've been a big supporter of Alberto. But it's time to step down. Love you Al, but go write a book or something.

I didn't see Peter Snell or Miruts Yifter in the race.

Oh much gosh. Take this back, please. Only Robby thinks that Robby is the greatest finisher of all time, which is why he's raced like a moron for YEARS. This was by FAR the smartest race I've ever seen him run, and he got a predictably better result because of that.

No, not at all. It's very clear from the race videos

For your sake, I sincerely hope you're not more than 13-14.

13-14, more like 8
Can we bring this thread back to the original claim that the entire NOP will start losing their edge with the added scrutiny? Across the board they seem to be struggling to close out races.
Thank you. Im so tired of people rejecting someones opinion just because there post had a typo in it. How about actually having a little analysis to add pal. Im still absolutely right: this is the worst USA champnionships for NOP since there creation. Im not a conspiracy theory guy, but even i can conect these dots

You really are reaching here. If you look at the context behind each of the 4 runners you will see it was actually a very good showing.
Rupp: 9 weeks after running Boston finishes 5th. He finished 2 in the Boston Marathon 2 months ago!
Rowbury: 2nd place in 5K after a round of the 1500 in the heat. This is a good result, might have won if she was fresh like the eventual winner.
Jenkins: 2nd in 5k behind Olympic silver medalist. Far away the best American born runner
Centro: 2nd place off 2 weeks of training!
This was actually a very good week for NOP!
Although I always appreciate some alternative facts, this was not a good weekend for NOP. Rupp and Centro are the faces of the program, and any time they don't win its an embarrassment. NOP is like the Yankees. Given what they claim to be, simply being good isn't good enough. They just end up looking like cheaters who don't even cheat to win.
I do believe that this is related to the Times article, but I have a tough time believing that it's simply because they got off the sauce. It's gotta be a huge mental drain to be exposed publicly like that. Kinda fits with how Centro was "sick" about a month ago.
Its not just the place, which is already subpar for a a program that is supposed to produce the class of the world. The bigger issue is how they looked during the race, and how the races played out. Not looking like champion caliber at all.

These threads pop up after every race and every US Champs where NOP doesn't dominate. Remember last years trials? "Rupp Barely won 10K" "Rupp got smoked in 5k" "Farah lost to G Heath" "Hasay is finished"...then fast forward to the Olympics and Boston marathon, which they peak for and the threads are nowhere to be found. Why don't you judge them after London and the Fall Marathons
A lot of tough talk for a guy who dosent know that the astersk goes before the corected word. Bet you put a lot of things before other things, if you no what I mean.
Centro is a little tailless monkey scampering around

The increased scrutiny started several years ago.
