If Rupp was in the race you would have 10 different threads with hundreds of replies each.
What's there to talk about? Huddle is awesome as usual and Flanagan isn't quite back yet. Nothing surprising there.
The ladies 10k last night was amazing! Great and exciting race! Congrats to the three qualifiers!

The women's 10k last night was pretty straight forward. It was discussed in the live thread.
Immediately after it, the men's 10k started and Galen Rupp's win streak went down.
The world's a sexist place but there wasn't much to say about women's 10k.
Most of the posters here are men and men care more about men's races than women's races. Nothing sexist in that. I'm sure women care more about women's races than men's races. Again nothing sexist in that. The fact that no woman started a thread on the women's 10K only reflects the fact that 95% of the people on here are not women.
Do you mean the women's 10,000m? The 10K is a road race.
I enjoyed both races, but I think the main thing is Galen/NOP generate a lot more discussion than just about anyone else, male or female.
Sad to see Shalane go down so to speak, but she'll get back up soon.
Infeld is amazing given how many injury problems she tends to have.
Bummer it didn't work out for Rogers. Hope she has something left for the 5k.

I do not agree. No prejudice or discrimination is shown my simply not creating a thread about a woman's race.
Why didn't you start a thread on the women's 10k instead of a thread complaining that someone else didn't start a thread? Are you a sexist?
Don't worry, OP, I'm sure there will be a couple threads on the women's steeplechase final.

Emily Infield

Emily Sisson

Shalane Flanagan
Won't be long till she wins a race again.
So? What's wrong with sexism?
Dude here. Thought it was the race of the night. I think Flanagan was a little too confident in how comfortable 5 minute miles were in here negative split at Portland. If she hadn't have pushed hard those first miles, maybe she would have been able to ratchet it down with Huddle? Was pretty proud to see 6 runners who are great 10k runners (rogers, sisson, conley, infeld) in addition to Flanagan and huddle. Looks like the US has some depth right now! Disappointed that Conley got fried last night. She's a known negative splitter.
Does this thread count?

10,000 meters and 10 kilometers are not the same thing?
That's very offensive to leave me out of this conversation.

Wow I thought it was Infield. Sorry Emily.
Your suggestion carries weight, but we already have cuddle. Maybe:
Emily Infeld
Is almost unparalleled.
