Kate Grace and Alexa Efraimson looked fantastic in heat #2.
Kate Grace moves to the early lead as everyone is bunched up behind her with the slow pace. Grace running way wide hoping someone else takes over the lead, but no one else wants it. They continue running super slow as Grace takes them through 400 in about 70-seconds. Alexa Efraimson and Amanda Eccelston moving up now on Grace’s shoulder. Gabe Grunewald starting to fall off the back of the pack with the pace accelerating a bit. Grace still leading with Eccelston right on her shoulders as they hit 800 in around 2:17. Grace maintains the lead as they come up on the bell lap, but Efraimson is moving up into 2nd with Eccleston in 3rd and they start to separate from the rest of the field (3:21 at 1200m). Grace stays smooth as she runs in to the heat win in 4:09 with Efraimson 2nd and Emily Lipari finishing hard to nab the final auto qualifying spot from Eccelston.
There was a group/hug prayer after it was over organized by Stephanie Brown I believe.

hunter still listed as in, but results also not final.
Please keep the play by plays coming.
According to USATF results, Hunter is the last qualifier. As a dumb 400m runner, why are there so few time qualifiers after auto-qualifiers as compared to the sprint prelims. Seems like that greatly benefits the third heat plus a lot of quality runners (ex. Merber, Wheating, Saarel, Fleet, etc.) got screwed IMO.

He's in barring a DQ.
Heat #2 of women's 1500. Jenny Simpson was the boss, leading from start to finish.
Jenny Simpson has the early lead with the pack bunched up right behind her, 50-seconds first 300m. Simpson leading Sara Vaughn as they hit 400 in 68-seconds. Everyone all bunched up with the slow pace as Simpson continues to lead through 800 in 2:17. Vaughn in 2nd and Oregon’s Katie Rainsberger moving up on the outside into 3rd with 600m to go, but everyone is still in it. 3:07 with 1 lap to go as the top three remain unchanged and they hit 1200m in 3:23. Some contact as Nelson either gets clipped,s teps on the rail or hits Rainberger’s heels with 200m to go. Regardless, Nelson stumbles and staggered way out into like lane 3, losing ground and is immediately out of it (she bounces back to still get 4th), but . Simpson looks back in the final straight to check that she has it as Vaughn gets second and Rainsberger 3rd.

Can't someone stream it from their phone? Come on.

The lack of time qualifiers is unfair and ridiculous.

Why didn't YOU fly to the meet and stream it for US for FREE? Looser...
Rogers has run 15:08 this year, could make the team and possibly win.
