Rudisha, Kemboi and a few others, who have byes to the worlds on account of being defending champions, have opted not to run. But others like Asbel Kiprop and Hyvin Kiyeng are entered.

thanks, was wondering because he was on the 5k startlist
Picture of the 5K final in progress. No Kam as you can see. He's pretty easy to pick out even for those who think all Kenyans look the same. 10k is a straight final tomorrow.

Never mind the xenophobic poster. Keep up the updates, El Keniano! Very helpful.
Kam drops a 54 second last lap to win the men's 10K over Bedan Karoki and Paul Tanui. Main victim of that burst was poor Leonard Barsoton who just couldn't respond after looking great for most of the race. Sad he failed to make the team.
BTW, Kam's time was ~ 27:35. Women's 5K is on sans Vivian Cheruiyot and Mercy Cherono but including the likes of Obiri, Rengeruk and Kiyeng. And they're practically walking it with a 90-second lap 2.
Pace slightly picking up after Obiri gets impatient. 76 - 72 -70 - 68 for the last four laps. Obiri turning the screw, all in single file. 800 to go.
Hellen Obiri over Margaret Chelimo. But she had to work for it. Looks like Lilian Rengeruk is out of the team finishing fourth.

Sorry. Can't find a working link for you guys.
Ferguson Rotich and Kipyegon Bett won the two 800m semis. Can't tell if A.Kipketer and E.Korir advanced as there was such a scram of bodies at the line. And Geoffrey Koech, third in the 5K, has been DQed for lane violation.
Actual violation, or they just wanted someone else in the team?
Men's 10K results:
1. Geoffrey Kamworor - 27:35.91
2. Bedan Karoki -27:40.32
3. Paul Tanui - 27:42.63
4. Leonard Barsoton - 27.47.41
5. Matthew Kisorio - 26:03.14
6. Matthew Kimeli - 28:23.32
7. Stephen Arita - 28:51.80
Kam is talking a big game by the way, but I won't post what he said here.
what are the races coming up today?
also ndiku didn't run?
Paul Ereng having a great trials. Raymond Kibet wins the 400m in 45.6
Everything that wasn't run yesterday coming up today. Women's 1500 is next. And no, Ndiku didn't run. Ezekiel Kemboi is on the stands with his kids.
Faith Kipyegon jogs to an easy win in the 1500m over Winnie Chebet. She's barely breathing.
The men, including "daddy long legs" Asbel Kiprop lining up.
Kiprop led from the gun for the first 700m but he's been passed by everybody. Tim Cheruiyot running aggressively chased by Manangoi and Kwemoi
Kwemoi blows past everybody on the home straight then relaxes and jogs to the line with Cheruiyot and Manangoi doing just enough to make the team. These three are obviously a class apart. Asbel DNF.
Ronald Kwemoi says he wants to stay friends with his teammates so they'll employ team tactics in in London. Elijah Manangoi says the WR is on his mind and you'll what he's made of in Monaco. Kwemoi says Asbel has a wild card so he's taking this as training runs.
The women's steeple is on and Milcah Chemoss is predicting a possible 1-2-3 for Kenya in London with Beatrice Chepkoech over Celliphine Chespol and Norah Jeruto.
Cellphine Chespol and Beatrice Chepkoech from the entire field including Norah. Celliphine looks amazing.
