I'm bringing in a 2004 Grand Cherokee Limited tomorrow for service - pretty sure I have 2 issues suspension and transmission plus 4 new tires prior to my next inspection in Nov.
I bought the car for $11k back in 2012 with 51k miles - traded in a Wrangler for $6k and paid the other half in cash. I've put roughly $4.5k into it in terms of repairs (engine bored out, new radiator, some wiring replacements and brakes once or twice and 1 set of tires)
I now have 106k miles on the rig now and it's worth maybe $2k in a trade.
I'm most likely going to repair anything that's wrong with it since I think I should be able to get 200k miles out of the rig. But just trying to gauge people's thoughts on what they would do. If I do end up trading it in I think I'm going with a used Subaru outback.
