Female senior-to-be, had a metatarsal sfx in the spring, and am now in our second week of summer running for cross. My coach already has us doing intervals and speed work/hills, and dome progression runs. I just got back into running after the injury last week. I didn't run for about 8 weeks. When can I start doing workouts? So far in my runs (we did about 25 miles last week), no pain in my foot. Do I wait a certain number of weeks before I start doing speed stuff? I know I need mileage and will get that too.
