I have lyme and ITS HELL, people think its just fever and weak joints and that some antibiotics BS. I have been years with this had to quit school / job. Severe depresion paranoid schizofrenia etc. The body hurts , the nervous system can't be controlled. BEWARE before you go to the trails and stuff check if its a tick zone, even its not it may have some thicks.
Running a lot ,highly raw sometimes vegan food, tons of medicines and alternative treatments and im still ill getting better. But gosh, be carefull its not fun at all.
A simple thick bite can cause HAVOC in your life, forget about what doctors can do, because they can't do anything, in fact many will tell you its psycologically then retract they don't know.
I went from a 30:00 10k XC guy to struggling to break 27:00 min for a 8k because of Lymes.
Just received the news myself day before yesterday. Waiting to take my sixth pill of forty two
awful stuff, truly harsh .
i also heard if teasel root from the body work therapist I am seeing in New York, Art Jaffe, he does spiral technique.
I was too tired to drive . fortunately, another body work therapist Linda Jaros loaned me a Bio Mat made with amethyst and tourmaline for deep and long lasting heat. my joints are feeling less stiff so therefore less pain.
i truly do not know how to explain the lebels of fatigue, ir the pain or the sadness that envelopes you it happens..
I thought I was diligent chevking for ticks and vacuuming and checking the various pets. only takes one tick.
However, having had thus before, Iknow rgat around a week, 10 days, I wont be able to move across the room without total fatigue.
Yesterday I did a ton of work in the house to set up my familt for what is too come.
Hopefully, though with a massive over haul of diet, eating inflammatory fighting foods, the bout won't be so bad. only time will tell.
So no dairy, gluten or sugar.
We'll see what helps.
I already ordered and give it a go. A 2 oz bottle will last 4 months.
Earlier I linked an article about a bike racer and microbiologist who struggled with Lyme disease for many years. The treatment killed off her gut biota and she got a fecal transplant that helped her a lot.
My post got deleted because apparently we can't talk about poop or something.
talking about gut microbiota, or gastrointestinal microbiota
Try these people in Canada.

Too bad Lyme disease was manufactured at Woods Hole laboratory. Look it up.
Probably because that's poop doping, and v illegal in any competitive sport bro.
We live in a tick infested area and have two dogs, so ticks are common in our household. My wife got ehrlichiosis from tick bite that nearly killed her (hospitalized for several days), so we take tick prevention very seriously. Here's what we do.
The dogs take an oral preventive. If ticks bite them, the ticks die. It lasts a month. Towards the end of the month, they get a light dose of Advantage flea and tick spray to further repel ticks and fleas until the next dose.
Our bed gets a generous sprinkling of DE (diatomaceous earth). We use only food grade DE. It looks like flour. We also periodically dose the pet's fur and food with it. It also goes on the cat's bed. DE is microscopic fossilized seashells that fleas breath in as they walk over it. Although it feels like baby powder on your hand, the microscopic sea shells are razor sharp and the insects breathe them in and then bleed out internally. Since we use it to kill internal parasites in the dogs and cat, we buy only food grade DE. The garden grade cannot be eaten.
Ticks are another reason I shave my legs. I can feel them walking on my skin. I never wear long pants around the house in summer because they can walk up the cloth without feeling them.
After a tick attaches itself to you, you have about 24 hours before it regurgitates your now tainted blood back into your body, so you have a window of time to get it off. You don't want to pull it off with your fingers because there is a chance you will squeeze the tick and push the blood in its body back into you or leave the head attached to you.
I use a tool called the O'Tom Tick Twister to get them off me and my pets. It looks like a matchstick with a tiny claw at the end. You put the claw between the tick's body and your skin, pull the tick away from your body a little, then slowly rotate the twister. After a slow rotation or two, the tick releases. You can buy it on Amazon.
Of course, I routinely check for ticks every morning and night.
