alright so here's the story in short
I ran for around 8 miles a day for a few weeks too many and soon my leg hurt in one spot and next thing I knew I wasn't allowed to run for 8 weeks. I've cross trained pretty hard every day (and I mean every day) since then, most days swimming for 30-40 minutes followed by aqua jogging for another 40-45 minutes, so usually around 70-80 minutes of pretty good cross training a day. I haven't gained any weight since not running, but with eight weeks off I'm still nervous about my fitness level with regards to running. I can start running in a few days, does anyone have any thoughts on how long it'll take me to get back to where I was before the injury? Cross country doesn't get underway for a good couple months, but I want to get an idea of how long it'll be before I'm where I was before
I run a two mile in 9:50 and a mile only a bit under 4:40
