She already pulled the same stunt a few years ago, that combined with last years flopping shows she isn't serious anymore

Maybe she can run ax exhibition 800M with Nick.

It's forecast to be 109 or so at the time of the 800 heats, with temps on the track well above that. I doubt you'd find a doctor who'd recommend any serious exertion in those conditions for an expecting mother.

It's not just about gaining experience. Running in USA's is a really cool and exciting achievement for an aspiring elite, regardless of whether or not they could gain similar experience elsewhere.

But the real issue is the fact that Montano is making a mockery of the event. You have no business running in USA's if you have no intention of making any effort to actually race and compete. This is an intensely competitive, elite track competition where people who've devoted their whole lives to this sport fight for a chance to represent their country at the world championships, and you're gonna come here and just jog around? What an embarrassment.

Imagine if someone qualified for this meet but then got a stress fracture and couldn't run. They show up anyway and just walk their whole race. Wouldn't that be a joke? Cause that's essentially the same thing as what Montano did a couple years ago and what it sounds like she's planning on doing again

I'm pretty sure she timed her pregnancies around the Olympic cycle. USAs is every year. Second trimester is probably the best time to peak for given you are pregnant for nine month then recovering while caring for a newborn.

God forbid she falls belly first...
