Mark my words. These guys will set middle distance records and put the Kenyans to shame in the next 2 years. Kiprop and company will have nothing on them. Plus they are Very Clean.

Morocco and Algeria should be suspended from athletics for the next 50 years and all their records scrubbed.

+1, I ain't buying that That big nosed, goofy faced Bakkali ain't on the juice. He makes it look too easy.
You guys have it wrong. These guys are clean. Right?
Yes, just as clean as Kenyans and Ethiopians. Dont forget South Africans. Cleanest of all!
Sadik Mikhou runs for Bahrain NOT Morrocco, just a FYI.
Better pay, benefits & other things?
El Bak is 21 with an 8:14 PR and you're calling for a WR?
If he was 15 and had an 8:14, maybe. At 21, to be considered a WR threat, you need a 7:56 pr.
I'd put money on him never breaking 8:12 before I'd bet he'd break 8, let alone 7:53.

He ran 8:05 in losing to Kipruto, who ran 8:04

The 8:05 was in Rome, still not close to the WR, but at 21, he may be breaking 8 soon.
No runners from North Africa post-1980 are clean.

No...it's only the Russians they want to do that to.
Do people still really believe Aouita, Morceli, El Guerrouj, Skah, Boulami, etc were clean?
lol
All Kenyans, Ethiopians and Moroccans currently competing are at least 99.9% clean. If they weigh 50kg, no more than 50g of them is dope. Very clean.
That was probably not true of Aouita and other likely transfusion users, as a blood bag weighs several hundred grams.

Typical loser, just upset he beat your precious ‘likely doper’ Evan J.
Really? What makes us say El G was doping?

The fact that from 1954-1999 the mile record on average lasted 2/3 years but the current record is 18 years old and with the ABP nobody has gotten near it (though athletes over 1500m have gotten closer, most of these athletes are suspected of "likely doping").
Also from the start of 2018 his records will no longer exist. Obviously, higher powers don't trust these times either.

Just plain common sense, really.
1) kada (his coach) is a notorious doping proponent
2) North African middle/long distance runners have a very significant history of doping
3) multiple fast performances all in a row- consistent without an off day performance
4) destruction of class 1500m fields in an era that wreaked of epo use

That could happen, but it won't last long. Jakob Ingebrigtsen will run a 3:24 flat 1500, and a 7:45 3000sc in 2020 so they'll have a year or two before he crushes the new records.
