+1. Great thread. Helped me shave 20 minutes off my PR. I use Daniels now - which also has the longer tempos and mile repeats - but I also try to incorporate MPR's longer long run and the 10E + 10M.
I had a flat spell of racing and was getting burned out with training in general.
Came across the legendary HADD training thread and tried it for about 16weeks. It definitely helped.

I started doing about 2 minutes of light core work targeting the obliques 10 minutes before my races. It has completely eliminated side stitches and saved my running career.
I have only tried one thing.
Read quite a bit about Doubles and have greatly benefited.
I ran the 10k.
Learned that seasonal allergies are a big part of why I have terrible race results in spring, including several Bostons.
