There was this one stretch where you stand flat footed with both feet together facing a wall. Then you place the inside of your foot/ the front pad of your foot on top of your other big toe/ inside area of other foot. This way you have the inside of one foot kinda overlapping another foot and you bend your knees. This is about the only stretch I have found to work on the muscles around your outside ankle and shin.

I bought a nice house on the beach in La Jolla. Learned that everywhere other than costal California pretty much sucks for running on Let'srun and it informed my decision.
