I think everyone is completely underestimating Casey Clinger at Brooks PR...he is a beast and I think he is going to take the mile...

I agree that he's underestimated but I don't think he will win. I don't think he will go under 4 either. He has an 800m season pr of 1:53. I just don't think he has the speed that it takes to run that fast for that long. I think he's much better in the longer races. I predict that he will run 4:02. I also think that his teammate Patrick Parker is underestimated. I think he has a better chance at winning/sub 4 than Casey.
Yo shout out to my Utah peeps!
So what do you think of Clinger's latest trend? 4:02 1600m relay split, and then 4:04 mile (losing to his teammate, who now has a better PR)? By my calculations that projects out to like 4:15.

Seriously though, Connor Mantz will be going to BYU after his mission, Clinger, Parker, and John's are all going as well I think. Added to that is Clayton Young who is a very good athlete. Currently a Sophomore at BYU. Ed could very well have a national champion team. Even the BYU girls are going to be good.

Ummm, Reed Brown also has an 800 PR of 1:53. We saw what kind of mile that he ran.

You've got a point. However, his PR is old. He can run a lot faster than that. Clinger has run his more recently.
We will see today how fast Brown can run the 800m
