I just saw the only female who can break krachtocvilovas 800m record clean.
She is without peer and incomparable.

Apart from the start, won't hand timed split be within a few hundredths of a second with a seasoned timing veteran? I don't think being accurate with FAT makes it any more impressive of a split. Won't most good splitsters get her between 49.80-90 anyway?

In my experience as a coach, most other coaches and fans that take splits don't know what they are doing and do it incorrectly. The fact that it is FAT means that we can believe that it is accurate.
Just when I thought nothing this year would top top Rogers' NCAA anchor, along comes this. Sydney's split was 0.08 off Rogers, while running in lane 2!!! Just farkking nutz
The girl who ended up in third ran super smart. She drafted McGlaughlin from 200 to 300 and was rewarded with a 51.45 split. The anchor in second ran 53.19 and got walked down anyway lol.

Who is McGlaughlin?
nah,she wont ever break koch's record.shes a super talent, but she wont run 47.6.her 49.85 was a relay split, worth about 50.6-50.7 from blocks.still astonishing, but she wont ever have the leg speed to break kochs record.also, lets not celebrate too early.shes a teen phenom.theres no guarentee she'll even get to the next olympics, let alone threaten world records.
Read the thread homie. She is in 50-flat shape, outta the goddang blocks RIGHT NOW. Who cares about some mandroid 47.xx, she will DOMINATE the 400, maybe even against the ball-wielding intersex athletes.

Literally a world elite running against high school kids.
According to Letsrun, though, this was with a running start, so you have to add in the 'running start adjustment'.
This is probably equal to 56, MAYBE 55, FAT open.
Don't get your panties in a bunch, LR.
50 flat shape my foot ! .and i cant see her dominating the 400 flat, either.

It needs to be noted that it was an FAT split.

Almost every football player get a girl pregnant at 17-18 and she won't agree to that.
Thats the first baby momma, Sydney is more like inline to be the 2nd or 3rd....
By my calculations, her effort was worth a 37.4 split.
IDIOT
She ran most of the race in lane two so subtract .45 for every step she took with a relaxed look on her face.
MORON
She looked like she could have eaten dinner about an hour earlier, so subtract another 7.3 seconds.

That run was worth a 49.xx from the blocks. She was in lane 2 the whole time.
She was on the outside of lane 1 mostly and took a few steps onto lane 2. You guys are acting like she ran an extra 50 meters
