Going through a bit of a setback. My shin was a little tight on yesterday's run and then I felt pain on the top of my right foot about 40 minutes in.
I've done quite a bit of reading on extensor tendinitis and find myself in that situation every runner wrestles with. Should I give it complete rest or is it one of those aches and pains that resolve on their own? At least with other injuries, complete rest has never been the answer for me and sometimes I tend to exaggerate the pain in my own mind I think.
