Back to Man U and his old coach Jose Mourinho!
Would be awesome to see him come back to Old Trafford and put on the #7 again.
The 3rd best player to wear the #7 in ManU history.
1. George Best
2. Eric Cantona
3. Ronaldo
4. Beckham
At tax evasion, who is better - Messi or Ronaldo?
Messi's dad!

There was no need to put Beckham in that list.
He was a very good player, but he was often not even in the top 4 greatest United players in the starting XI. No way anyone would have him in front of Giggs or even Scholes.

Read the post again. I said players who wore the #7 on their jersey. Neither Giggsy nor Sat-nav wore that number. I do agree though that I wouldn't have Beckham on the all time Starting XI for United.

Um, only for 4 seasons at Real Madrid.

1. Ronaldo would not waste his time at man united, who can't even crack the top 5 in England
2. In terms of quality the other three on your list are not at all comparable to Ronaldo. Maybe now at age 32 vs them in their prime, but all the scoring records, trophies, ballon d'ors, all with Messi right against him? No contest.
The whole "it cool to say Beckham suck" movement is great an all. But you got to face reality that he was really really good. His popularity took away from just how good he was
As a madridista: f*** Ronaldo, Messi, Florentino and all the other tax cheating scum involved in professional club football in Spain.

Ah yeah, sorry. Gotcha. You missed Bryan Robson though, Tough call between him and Beckham.

So are you saying that the Spanish government owns the income that these people derive? They aren't Spanish, they were talented before moving to Spanish clubs and they are out of Spain for large parts of the year. Seems to me that they over playing their cards and Ronaldo called their bluff.

So you are saying that Ronaldo, Messi et al. correctly followed what the law requires and the Spanish gov't is acting beyond the scope of its power?
Can you share your legal analysis with me? I am curious.
Scholes, about 105 goals, and Giggs about 115, both scored a lot more than Beckham (62), for Man U., but only because they played a lot longer for them. Beckham was there 1992-2003, while Giggs 24 years and Scholes 18. On a goals per appearance basis, Beckham was much better than either. But Beckham's game was far better if you consider how he facilitated the entire team with his passing, free and indirect kicks, and corner kicks, which were rightly seen as the best in the world. The lack of tenure does weigh against Beckham, however, when you want to see who made the biggest contribution to Man U.
Boris Becker says that he lives most of the year in his Wimbledon apartment.
Spain is bankrupt, so now they are going after the one good thing their country has, footballers.
Oh, look. Now Spanish Authorities are going after Jose Mourinho for his earnings when he was manager at Real Madrid
Perhaps these players should have considered the financial situation of Spain before signing anything? The country went on a building boom, including some very expensive stadiums, and somebody has to pay for them. Either the actual taxes legally owed by the soccer players or another bailout from the German taxpayers.
