Yes, my name is Joe Whitmen and I am a friend of many meat trainers. I see them at Genesys Athletic Club doing 6x6miles at 5:43 progressing down to 5:41. Looking really great. It looked suppeeerrr EZ.
Best regards,
Leo Foley
I think I saw them yesterday at Genesis as well. They did not look good. First of all, the track is short. It is not a full 400m track, thus their splits are faster than they appear. This worries me about their ability to contend for the GLR title.
Meanwhile, I have intel on other teams. Shane "Big Daddy" Logan has compiled a team of beer half marathoners (isn't that what GLR is anyway??). Their training regime includes 7x6mile with natural ice (not the light shit) during the 10 seconds recovery period. Really impressive, but still worried about their ability to hold it all in on the big day. We shall see.
Praise the lord. Meat Train is healthy and ready to go. They have a new runner, Zach Kughn, he is in stellar shape after a strong senior season at MSU. I think he could give them the edge.
Zach Kughn?? Anyone know where i can find him. Dillon Foy has sent me with his court papers. Anyone know what legs hes running so i can find him on bourse.
Please do not use my name on LetsRun. I will send my lawyers after you. This is bhildish and immature.
Is Mike Rossi on the Meat Train team this year???
They need all the cheaters they can get.
Training with natural ice?? I heard Nick Thelen won a keg from Atwater at a local GR race and has been training his Meat Flop team with sponsored beer. I would imagine they will be well prepared. Even more prepared than Jerome Java Porter Recker from Bozorg.
I also heard they obtained the ledgend masters runner Rob Hyde as the M-10 team knew they were washed up and dissolved.
Meat Train will not be rocking sweet A-frames because Wes 'Mantooth' Stoody and Cole 'the pride of Monroe' Samsevrino have a competitive basket weaving tournament that weekend. So they took their hipster specs and went home.
Meat Train has 1% chance of winning and that's only if the top 15 teams get lost.
Did meat flop ever find Brendan Moloney?
Is there any possibility that Jerome Recker will be there? Or will EMU alums and International stars like Neal Naughton and Erik Reichenbach also be in attendance? I just want to know.
