Why even bother starting this thread? This isn't a T & F site, it's some kind of haven for misanthropes.
SEC goes 1-2-3 in the 4 x 100 led by Kentucky which broke the Hayward field record of 42.65 with a 42.56. It's a shame the co-collegiate record holders - Oregon and LSU (42.36) - didn't even make it to the final or this race would have been insane.
Place Team Time
1 KENTUCKY Kentucky 42.51
2 ALABAMA Alabama 42.56
3 FLORIDA Florida 42.73
4 SAN DIEGO STATE San Diego State 43.32
5 CLEMSON Clemson 43.38
6 ARKANSAS Arkansas 43.68
7 PURDUE Purdue 43.88
8 KANSAS STATE Kansas State 45.00

Women's high jump on espn3
Breaking another sprint record in this weather tells me that this is about optimal weather when taking ALL events into consideration. Great for the 5K
Ooopppss Larry claims 66 sec opening lap in 1500. NOT
How does Rawson get 66 for the first 400?
The meet is on http://www.vipbox.bz/ but I'm not where on the site.
Please provide play by plays of the races, for those of us without coverage.
Blanket finish 1500 due to slow pace, Phelan wins it (Michigan), Hiltz 2nd
Some Michigan chick wins the 1500 jogfest over some chick from Arkansas.
Weird 1500 for the women--Phelan won. Dani Jones looked like she was cruising the whole time just off the lead and I figured she would kicked down everybody, but it became clear on the final straight she didn't have it. Rainsberger looked great but also didn't have another gear. Hiltz came on strong from the outside and closed hard but Phelan won.
I think it was Phelan-Hiltz-Price-Rainsberger-Jones but couldn't quite tell who 3rd was.
I wonder if the people in Heat 1, like Jones, suffered today for running 4:10 a couple days ago.
Not sure which is worse, the poor coverage, or terribly slow "racing."
Go Allie O

This is why all qualifying should be time based, by place of time overall, not by placings in individual heats.
You think these Colorado Runners would realize by now they aren't the best kickers when the race is a jog fest....
Steeple up. Allie O in only her 4th steeple ever? Thx Larry, actually was wondering how tall she was. And she's got 5K in just over 2 hours

I think they confused her with Jordan Hasay!
Eh didn't she basically win two races like that a few months ago at indoors?
