He could be World Class in the 400 Hurdles.
In his post-race comments, Florida coach Mike Holloway said he's never seen anyone with such a range of talent as Grant. Mike also said Grant's dad thinks Grant's best event is the ..... 400m hurdles, and event he doesn't yet run.
Grant and Mike are also distance cousins.
In the video below you also see Grant come up and hug his coach.

Grant Holloway is a great interview. Great kid. His video from today is coming shortly but here he is after Wednesday's runner-up in the long jump saying a loss is a loss even though he lost to his teammate.
400m Hurdles will be his best event. Olympic champ 2020.

Agreed. He has the speed and the endurance to do well in that event.
The long jump and hurdles were good, but hardly surprising if you watched him in high school. And his range has long been revered ... BUT, I think even the most knowledgeable Grant Holloway fan, coach, whatever had to be fu*king blown away by 43.88. I would have been relatively impressed by 45-low or 44-high. 43.88 is freakin amazing.
Charisma overflow!

His last comments will endear him to all track fans.

The most knowledgeable Grant Holloway fan would know that he split 44.8 at indoor nats and 43.8 at Florida relaya earlier this year.
Hilarious post-race reaction:
The same reason we don't see white cornebacks or runnihg backs (other than thumpers).they simply don't have..."it"....."it"...comes from western Africa.
Let's see....
Allan Johnson could run a sub 13.00. long jump over 26 feet and run a sub 45.00 leg.
But...not as a 19 year old college kid.
could he be the one to take down Kevin Young's record?

Exactly what I am thinking.
Johnson couldn't run sub-45. Watch the heats of the 4x4 at the 99 world champs. He split 46.5, and was ill at the end, leant over the timer.

But what is the "it?"
he does have extraordinary ability, but his 43.88 in a relay split doesnt mean he can run it in a proper race with blocks.he could probably run 45 seconds or so,perhaps 44.9,but not sub 44.as for him breaking kevin young's record,or being olympic champ in 2020,well its far too early to tell.he's got awesome talent, but 2020 is 3 years away.a lot can happen in that time.he could become olympic champ,or he could not make an olympics.
Vondell, really?!
There is this guy from Oregon called Devon Allen. He is an NCAA, National Champion, 2016 Olympic Finalist in the sprints AND he was a defensive back in a Division I program.
PS: His teammate Cabral is also a "flyer".

Does your computer not have a google?
If not, I would bring it back to where you got it and exchange it for one that does.
The guys a huge talent. Surprised he didn't go the football route since he's pretty big as well. Very excited to see what he can do in the future for track and field.
