So my Nike+ watch of 4 years or so just broke. It might just be the battery but I'm looking for a new watch. Before this one I had the old Nike+ strap which was great because of its small size, but terrible because it judged distances based on how many strides you took (not reliable at all) and required a pod attached to your shoes. This last watch was much bulkier (like many running watches) but it had built in GPS which was a big plus. So I am trying to find a middle ground and find a band like the original Nike+ that has GPS built into it. Not interested in a FitBit unless it has GPS and specific run settings.
I found this one, the Vivosmart HR+
https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/548743
and it seems to have everything I'm looking for. It has lots of options that I don't really care about, but it offers GPS and a run mode. Just hoping it's not too good to be true as I haven't really found another one like it.
Have any of you ever tried this watch or have any recommendations for a different thin band GPS running watch?
