Congratulations to Luke Winder at USAs! An amazing showing and representation of D3 athletics.
Out of all the men in D3 he has the best chance to have a long lasting career as a pro, so hate all you want.

It is people like you that makes me lose hope in the world. You're going to attempt to put down a young man who is not only a multi-time national champion at the D3 level but did as well as to make the USATF championships, all because he no-heighted?
You are just a disgusting human being.
I doubt Luke Winder reads these boards but if he does, congrats on a hell of a season. You make all of us old D3 athletes proud.

I see a very clear lack of Geneseo in that list, and on this thread. I know you Midwesterners love to hate the Atlantic, but Geneseo is at least a top 8 team next year if not a podium contender.
Everyone hating on the Atlantic region because they stole all the bids last year. That being said, most of the teams that made it from the region graduate most kids so look for 3 teams this year instead of 6
It seems that certain teams and regions always seem to get ripped on in these threads, like the Atlantic, Southern, Lacrosse, MIT, Loras, etc.
LORAS IS GONNA WIN NATS GO DUHAWKS LETS GO DUHAWK NAAATTIOOOON
CNU will finish in the top 5..have a great lineup of runners 3-4 running sub 15 on nearing sub 14:30 type stuff. I mentioned last year I thought they could be a top ten finisher .. they came in 11th..

So you freely admit that you over-hyped CNU last year, and now we're supposed to believe you that a team from the South region is going to finish in the top 5 this year? Aren't they in the middle of changing coaches?

Well, the south, how do you not hate on the south? It's so easy!
As for the others, I think part of it is just some good-natured trolling. For example, I doubt the guy who wrote:
It's a troll:

is actually from Loras, but as soon as anybody hypes any school they are bound to get backlash. Same thing with "Tufts Dad" or Patrick Treacy from last years thread. It's a tried and true method to get responses, works like a charm!

Yeh because the midwest will be taking 7-8 this year again. They sent 4 mens teams from midwest last year (Really, only 4?) And they all placed top 6 as teams, despite Schultz imploding. With a health Schultz, midwest goes 1-2 on the team podium
Midwest sent 4 teams last year because the 5th place team at regionals was over 60 points behind 4th...at regionals. Just because your top 4 are good doesn't mean there is depth after that

I get you have pride and that you probably run in the region. Did you suck it up at regionals last year and are salty because you didn't get grandfathered in? How about you go prove it and get the automatic so there are no worries?
Run more, talk less, scrub.

I agree with some of your sentiment, but to simply suggest getting the automatic bid out of the midwest is a bit naive. There have been numerous podium finishers at nationals that were not top two in the midwest simply because the midwest would produce the top 3 or 4 teams in the country in a particular year.

I'm hearing excuses, but I'm not seeing any training.
People forget geneseo lost by 144pts last year.

Yes Albion College is very good! Bill Andrew will take them to the promised land... or is it Andrew Bill? His name confuses me greatly, which first name comes first? But Albion college will confuse you greatly when they SEND NORTH CENTRAL HOME DEVASTATED at nationals this year![quote]goodcollegeee wrote:

Will Albion college even be top 2 in their conference?
Since you asked, Loras does return 2 sub 15 5k runners:
Tope - 14:52 30:41
Sevcik - 14:48
That's probably enough to win them the IIAC again. Any Central region schools challenge them for the auto-bids? They'll find out what a real team looks like at nattys i guess.
Loras at nationals? You guys historically suck! The only thing more embarrassing than your mascot is your ability to get position at nationals. I get it though, you guys like it in the rear. I'm not judging. PS the central region was weaker than the south last year. Keep those heads up boys!
Man, why all the hate, you go to a school that gets consistently throttled by Loras?
Or more likely you just suck at running and you're taking your anger out by making fun of a random school. I get it though, man, not all of us can be good at something!
