Will ultraboosts last 4 months of running everyday ? Anyone use them for running ? I leave for bmt in a month and need to know! Thanks

I like them a lot for my recovery runs. My morning runs of 3 miles, I wear them and it's great. I've been wearing them for several months now and it still has excellent bounce to it. I prefer to wear these half a size smaller with thin socks as my flats.

Ultra boosts feel amazing but they didn't last as long as I would have liked. The outer had holes around the pinky toe within a month or so, which didn't affect their performance but was still kind of annoying. The waffle texture on the bottom flattened out insanely quick as well although I think they have since improved that I'm pretty sure. Despite those things they still continued to run well for a while. After 400 miles or so they lost all cushioning and started to feel pretty bad though. One other thing I don't like about them is the primeknit outer offer literally zero support. Sometimes while rounding corners it felt as if my foot was sliding sideways off the side of the sole because the outer would just stretch that way when pressed upon. I still loved them though they were comfortable as hell and ran nice while they lasted.
Not as flashy but if you like boost and want a shoe that will last get the boston. I can't believe mine are still going. They aren't even on their last limbs yet either. They don't have that soft pillowy feeling on your foot that the ultraboosts do but they are still comfy and they are amazing to run in. They are quite narrow though.
The midsole has become firmer and with longer lasting cushion over two years (Adios 2.) I stopped wearing them almost immediately because they bottomed out. Now they're acceptable.
My last two pairs of adidas with boost in them have been a disappointment after a week or so they don't feel right for months, then they hit a sweet spot for 3-4 weeks right before they give and die. You don't realize this and running at your previous pace then injures you.
Yes they will last 4 mo. Hate the $ but love the shoe. Bought a pair of Boston 6 to help "save" the ultras and couldn't get out the door in them.
I would try buying half. Size down with wearing thinner racing socks and you won't get much of the slippage.

The boost will last forever. It is made out of TPU, which does no degrade. However, the rubber sole will breakdown, depending on how many miles you put on the shoe. The avg runner should be able to get 400-500 miles out of that shoe.
Mine lasted 500 miles, and I run approximately 80% of my miles on concrete. The pimples (for lack of a better word) on the sole wore down pretty quickly at first, but I thought the traction was fine for the remaining life of the shoe. The Primeknit upper was surprisingly durable - no holes.
Yeah, boost foam doesn't wear out. Like, at all. There's really no comparison with traditional EVA. I have a pair of first generation Energy Boosts with over 2000 miles on them. The upper is worn through, and there's no tread left (so they're slippery if it's wet), but they have the same bounce they had they day I bought them.
