Or just look at the roster to see Jorgensen is still on the team. He was hurt for like 3 years, I don't know why you think it's unreasonable for someone to come back a 5th year...

Are you not entertained? How many more natty q’s or podium finishes does Genny need before we stop questioning (I.e. ripping apart) a kid who apparently had heat exhaustion, one who did the same thing as last year, and one who apparently has been injured since cross last year and is on the comeback? Geneseo pretty much always shows up, and PVC has little/no effect on bids: that’s going to come with pre-nats and non-season-openers. I’ve doubted the Genny boys just as much as the next AR guy, but the past two years have obviously given me a reason to “suny g believe†or whatever. RPI will be one of the biggest determining factors in bids merely based on the coaches’ assumption that Geneseo will go to the big dance and do well/alright come hell or high water (insert Genesee river joke here). Same with SLU at Paul short and whatever the hell the jersey guys are doing.
Also, agreed on all viewpoints of JPD’s.
Maybe RPI just took PVC more seriously than Geneseo and almost got an upset. Won't happen again. I saw RPI just sitting in the shade before the race instead of warming up. Maybe that helped? Maybe it didn't and they'll be even better in future meets... I still think TCNJ will be 2nd at regionals.
I'm concerned more people didn't tank this weekend because of the heat. You should be incredibly dehydrated at all times at this point in the season because of all the masturbating.

Second this.
1.Geneseo
2.RPI
3.TCNJ
4.SLU
5.Rowan
too big of a jump by SLU in my opinion. should be either 6 or 5 being Rowan or Oneonta until either team proves otherwise. With that being said, the region should have 5 nationally ranked teams now though, and we'll find out better rankings after this weekend

Not sure we should be ranking teams on an "until they prove otherwise" basis. Rowan and Oneonta haven't done anything this season to show that they should be ranked above SLU. Tbh Oneonta is trash anyway
by that logic SLU should've jumped TCNJ as well, since they haven't raced an 8k, like Oneonta. At least Rowan has raced an 8k (a slow one). SLU is good, especially if Dadley can keep that up and Sidi starts performing like he knows how to
The Liberty League is very solid this year, I think overall they best SUNYAC on average. RPI and SLU are strong, Vassar can take down some solid teams and Ithaca is new to the league and very under-rated in my opinion. Clarkson, Union and RIT aren't quite up to par with these teams though unfortunately. Should be a good showing in the next few weeks with those top four.
yeah yeah Ithaca getting some love. here we go bombssss yaaaaaaaa

lmao, clearly goes to Ithaca. you guys suck, fyi
Tcnj in gold race, will they beat any other d3 teams in the race? From their schedule this looks like the only out of region competition they will face all year.

TCNJ was terrible today. Did they not run their top guys? If they did then they are overhyped.
SLU had a solid showing again. How come Mortensen didnt run? He would have been near that Kenyan and Sidi.
NYU looked decent considering they graduated a bunch last year. Did they not run all their top guys? I would have expected them to be better.
The region didn't do itself any favors today.
TCNJ - terrible day, last place in gold race with 25:50 average. Lost to: Harverford (9th nationally, 2nd mideast), Amherst (8th nationally, 1st new england), Christopher Newport (13th nationally, 1st south), Williams (15th nationally, 3rd new england), John's Hopkins (3rd nationally, 1st mideast. willing to bet based on their spread they did a workout) and Middlebury (17th nationally, 4th new england). Will also end up losing to Carnegie Mellon, SLU, NYU, Allegheny and Tufts in the merge
SLU - 25:34 avg in brown race. Mortensen did't run, though they still wouldn't have beaten CM if he did. Lost to: Carnegie Mellon (16th nationally, 3rd mideast). Beat teams who won't go to nationals (Allegheny, Tufts, Connecticut College, Washington and Lee)
NYU - same deal as SLU with a 25:35 avg
So....what were you saying about Jorgensen and McAneny?
BOOM Roasted
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
