Plattsburgh ladies win regionals. Two strong performances just tempoing.

LOL what a joke.
I think less than 4 would constitute a boning.

The Atlantic Region is horrible. You guys will be lucky to get 3 teams in.

Looks like you're in the wrong thread.. this is the 2017 thread, not the 2007 thread
So I have some really unfortunate inside info. I was at the Oswego invite and everyone was expecting Geneseo to run their top guys like they did last year, but none of them were there. I asked a friend from Geneseo what was wrong and it turns out that a bunch of their guys are injured. IGC has developed signs of a tibial stress fracture and could potentially be out for the season. He may save this season for a fifth year at a DI grad school. Pulvidente is also out with some sort of glute injury, they wouldn't give me full details but they also said something about a very serious rash. There were also some other less important runners they mentioned with other things going on.
Geneseo could very well be beatable this season with what they have left. Stuff happens I guess.

No.
LOL what was the deal with the race at Rowan today? Everyone ran so slow.
Nothing wrong really, course conditions were great. Weather was cool and sunny and there was good competition. The competitors were just slow runners hands down. Rowan and RIT aren't great teams.

Haha, you are full of shit. It was 85 degrees and sunny at the race. Also a different course then what was run at regionals. Construction or something caused it to move. Course seemed pretty good but is all open and it was hot. Multiple women went to the hospital for heat illnesses.

Notice how no MEN went to the hospital for heat illness. This is what happens when we let women play sports.
That being said RIT and Rowan runners wouldn't be able to push themselves hard enough to get heat illness. They probably started sweating and figured that they should probably slow down.
Either way, RIT and Rowan still suck.

We wont get 6 teams again but we could potentially get 4/5 teams.
Personally, I don't think they'd let only 4/5ths of a team run.

Let's just compromise at 3/5ths.
Nothing really changed in the rankings, but NYU is vastly underrated
Ya well they are ranked 9th in the region cause they DFL'd at nationals and haven't run any of their top guys yet. I know a couple people on NYU and they said that they aren't running their top guys at Purple Valley (bone head move imo)
Their website doesn't have them going to Williams. Guessing they're opening up their top guys at Paul Short?
Who is honestly doing these rankings? NYU at 9 while RIT who averaged 27:21 for 8k is 7th?? Nice to know the rankings mean absolutely nothing right now
Why does everyone in this thread pick on RIT? They have two all-americans.

Maybe because they have 2 all americans and STILL can't even get top 10 at regionals
