Nah the Rowan course ended up being completely different this time around, seems like they moved the course to the other side of the road and now construction is going on where their last course was.

After Vassars performance this past weekend, they should have a shot at being ranked top 20 in the nation. They should've beaten Rowan at their home meet but instead they took the meet lightly and tempoed the course. On another note RIT still sucks. :)

You must be a vassar cuck
Everyone on this forum better be scared shitless. RIT hasn't even tempoed a race the entire season. In fact, the highest heart rate any of our top 10 guys have had was 137bpm. Two letters describe what that means: EZ. If we were going for it we'd be averaging under 24:00. Current JPD statistics have RIT 5% higher than SUNY G, RPI, Rowan and SLU combined, leading to stupidly high endurance, not just in their legs but in their arms as well. Takeaway of the day: watch out for RIT as the underdog to win nationals. The JPD proves it
RIT officially killed the JPD joke. On another note, they'd be lucky to get top 7 at regionals. They couldn't even beat a trash NYU team at Pre-Regionals.

Like I said: EZ. I'm not tryna start a dick measuring contest here, but the numbers don't lie

RIT can think they have big dicks all they want, but nobodys got as big as balls as the kids from vassar

8. RIT is going to be a force. Bailey rounding into form and Otto is top 3 at regionals. If Bailey gets to AA form of last year this team goes to nationals.
4 team region
1. Geneseo
2. RPI
3. SLU
4. RIT
See here's the problem with that: If RIT does miraculously finish fourth, the AR will be a 3 team region. RIT has raced like trash all year and lost to too many out of region teams. You can't go as an at large team if you don't get any good until November.
Side note, the only way RIT finishes fourth at regionals is if the rules of xc get changed and each team only scores two runners.
I guess I should apologize to RIT. They haven't actually lost to any out of region teams it seems... they also really haven't raced anyone good all season so my point still stands.
Bailey hasn't even broken 26 this year. He also didn't run preregionals, so he's probably injured.
Our plan is to peak at the right time, beat SLU and RPI at Leagues then place 2nd at regionals. We won't need out of region comp when we race at our peak.
Might want to get those big balls checked out, that can't be healthy
Let's start talking about the real underdogs here.....
Utica has tempoed every race this year and is on pace to break 22 minutes in the 15k by the end of tomorrow and rumors say IGC is planning on transferring and running Regionals for them as their alternate. You heard it here first folks.
Listen it may sound crazy that we will beat RPI BUT WE WILL.
If you assume Otto and G. O'Connor are the same, time gaps on each team behind them are very similar with the advantage going to RIT due to a stronger third runner in Bailey this past weekend. It may be hard to believe but Reid Kovacs is as good as Sean O'Connor.
Which scenario is more believable, above or Grant O'Connor is significantly better than Otto and hence could win nationals....
I will answer for you....scenario 1.
RIT will be ranked behind this week: Geneseo, RPI, SLU, NYU, Rowan, Oneonta. If RIT can't beat NYU in a meet where their 5 (assuming Bailey runs and gets thrown into the results) can't break 26 on a flat pre-regionals course, and only beats Ramapo by 3 points, they won't get close to an RPI team that probably did their workout running 26 on that course (rest included). There's a reason they are a top 10 team in the country.
Team to watch out for: Oneonta. Ackerley is good, they beat a good Brandeis team (who, it appears, had an off day at Conn. College) and usually peak well at Regionals. Lack of a true low stick is probably going to hurt them, however. When looking at the top six other teams in the region (Geneseo, RPI, SLU, NYU, Rowan, RIT) they all have a low stick that will help in a bigger race like Regionals. If Ackerley can get in the top 12, Oneonta could suprise some people.
Oneonta's top guy is better than SLU's.

Agreed with this, but only if they can put it all together on the same day. Ackerley has been consistent all year and has had a great last 2 races. If McDonald runs like he did at Geneseo that is huge. Dellabough ran 25:3x at regionals last year and hasn't showed anything yet. Brennan ran 25:3x last year and hasn't showed anything yet either. If they can pull something together they could make some noise. Otherwise they are an average team. Would be a surprise if they make nationals after losing 1-2-3 from last year
