This right here, they are aiming to peak at the right time in London. Of course that with the trials the task is hard to negotiate, but I reckon Ahmed and Jager will be strong candidates for a medal in London.

I have no explanation for the other guys however, they probably are sacrificial lambs for the former two right now.

They had to get off the L-Carnitine like NOP. Luckily Letsrun gives them a free pass so they can do so without scrutiny.

Yeah it is odd that so many of them have been having bad races. Even Freirichs had a terrible race recently didn't she?

My hopeful perspective: Jerry learned from Jager's 2015 season that it is possible to get into peak shape too early. After that amazing 8:00 steeple and then not doing as well at World's, they realized that they were peaking too early. Last year Jager saved it for the Olympics and look at the result. Maybe they are applying that to this year and everyone will start rounding into form in the next month and peak in August.

Or I'm wrong and Jerry is trying something new this year that is simply not working. With their track record over the last 10 years that seems unlikely.

If she's doing that on tired legs in May, look forward to her performance at Outdoors.

She had food poisoning in Doha. This was even mentioned in the Pre Classic Lets Run preview.

Most BTC runners are coming to Pre straight from an altitude camp.
