Hi everyone. In the past I have struggled with plantar fasciitis, shin splints, calf strains, etc and I have been doing PT work which has helped for both strength and stretching and whatnot. I kind of want to take things to the next level by starting to incorporate some higher weights into my PT strengthening routine.
I thought things like single leg squats, single leg dead lifts and med ball throws. I could use some suggestions on some other exercises to start doing. Some of the band work seems to get so repetitive and boring that I want to shake it up and make some things a bit harder.
I really want to hit my glutes. hip flexors, and core to get my bigger muscles worked out to help take some pressure off the smaller muscles in my lower legs.
Any suggestions?
