Mostly it`s a common opinion that training "hard" or at "hard level" means high weekly mileage and training fulltime and do daily at least double workouts and a lot of "suffering" in quality workouts.
In my world of coaching the word "hard" about training is similar to wrong training. I prefer to use the words "smart" or "individual exact" for the very best training.
