Personally I remember the glory days of Lance Armstrong and remember watching everyday of the TDF just to watch greatness. My high school summers were filled with cross practice and spending the rest of the day on the couch watching that day's stage.
It was fun and exciting to see an American do so well.
I defended him until the end and still choose not to believe it. I will say he did screw over a lot of people and deserved it.
Though when it comes to NOP I don't really care that they "walked the line" when it comes to these "Allegations".
It appears that everything is circumstantial and not overwhelming like Armstrong. In my eyes, I need to see overwhelming proof that they broke the rules. Until then I just see them as being on the cutting edge.
I think that to be able to compete, you have push the limits. If you don't someone else will, and beat you. Nice Guys Finish Last.
