Do you guys not feel any remorse or wrongdoing for publishing this report and continuing to bring attention to it? If I heard correctly, the investigation is not finished thus the report may not be accurate, right? You are condemning and helping others to condemn people that have not yet been proven guilty.
Do you guys say "Obtained by Fancy Bears" as a joke, or are they the actual source? I know they've released TUEs of folks, so not sure if this is the same thing.
So why isn't LRC keeping the report privileged and confidential? They seems to be a serious breach of lawyer/client, etc.

Seriously, you guys are becoming as bad as CNN, FOX, and MSNBC.

I love LR. If you hate it so much, why are you here?
I am glad Let's Run is speaking out on this. The reports of doping at Nike are very concerning to me as a coach. I admire Salazar greatly, but I cannot let my admiration get in the way of discernment and skepticism of his methods when we keep seeing very strong evidence stuff is amiss at NOP.
I coach high school and collegiate athletes. I cannot hold up someone like Rupp as a good example if he's not in reality being that good of an example. The world of pro running may lumber along in dealing with drug cheats but the NCAA has become pretty good at clamping down when it smells a rat and has solid proof. I don't want people thinking what may well be going on (or have gone on) at NOP is normal or allowable.
If Salazar is in the clear, he needs to cooperate with legit investigations. It's one thing to say Steve Magness had a grudge, quite another to not cooperate with official investigations when you supposedly have nothing to hide.

Legit???
When the official investigators are leaking INCOMPLETE reports that may not be accurate, then it is no longer a legitimate investigation. It is a hostile and non professional investigation. Why would they want to cooperate with such an investigation? Do you really not understand that?
There is also nothing wrong with having things to hide. Do you also think football coaches are guilty of something because they don't publish their playbooks???

You are a Nike NOP shill, get lost.
Erik Lindsey won't sleep for a year. If anything this report does its poetic justice.
Seriously why is anyone upset that Flortrack or Letsrun are publishing this? Or continually writing about the NOP USADA investigation. Do you want them to just keep quiet, and sweep it under the rug like Nike is doing?
This is OUR sport. We come on sites like this because we love the sport, and should want the best for our sport. If you are one these message boards, you're a running geek just like the rest of us. Who cares if the investigation is still underway... There was always skepticism of Al Sal and NOP, and once the BBC report came out two years ago or so, Letsrun has posted stories whenever they can, so we can know what's going on! I don't understand why anyone has a problem with that.
And I know it's MY opinion, but anyone here who is still believing that Alberto Salazar did nothing unethical or illegal is out of their mind. The medical rexords show that it was literally impossible to take less than 50ml of that l carnitine and produce those levels. The Brojos want a clean sport, and so do I. Idc if it's not ever going to be fully attainable, but we still gotta bring down the bad guys when we can.
P.S. I come from a running family. My grandfather placed top 10 in the first NYC marathon (not that it was amazingly fast). But I grew up in the sport, and in middle school my uncle would take me to road races on the weekends. He would tell me tales of kip keino, gerry Lindgren, prefontaine, etc... But his favorite runner of all time was Bill Rogers. And I'll never forget, I was 12-13 years old and he told me about Albert Salazar and how much he hated him, that he just wasn't like Bill Rogers. He was cocky, arrogant, and jusy not a likeable guy. I had no idea who Alberto Salazar was, but my uncle is one of the greatest and most genuine people you'll ever meet, and I trusted his word. I hated Alberto Salazar at 12 and 13 years later I still hate him and will celebrate the day he gets banned from the sport.

Because the details might not be accurate. Thus you are causing lots of people to think there are illegal things happening. No one here said anything about sweeping anything under a rug. The idea is that the investigation should be able to be finished and a complete and accurate report finalized before being published. If there is illegal activity found, THEN write about it and publish about it.
Do you really not see the problem with releasing false information? What if Salazar and NOP turn out to be completely innocent? It will be too late as many people will never hear that news or bother to read the final report with error corrections. False allegations stick for a long time if not forever.
So who are all of these relatively slower NOP women that I'd never heard of until this article? What's the story there?

So you have never met Alberto Salazar but have hated him for decades just because your uncle told you so? That is disgusting that you would let someone convince you to hate someone that you have never met. Someone that has not done anything to you.
Your post is exactly why this incomplete report should not be leaked and continually published. People like you are gullible and will believe anytning that they have been groomed to believe. What if the facts in this report are wrong? What if your uncle was mistaken in his facts about Salazar?
Hey Ododj,
You've now posted your lame defense of NOP under 4 different user names. My question for you:
Does Nike pay you by the post, or by the username? Maybe both? I hope it's enough to buy opioids so you can sleep at night.
my takeaway is that russian "Fancy Bears" continues to manipulate the USA in alarming ways and everyone just keeps taking the bait
You Nike employees come here in the hopes of influencing public opinion. And guess what? You're effective. You've convinced me that Nike will stop at nothing as it bullies its way through the sport. Disgusting. I'm never buying a Nike product again.
