So I have a lot of issues buying shoes in general it seems. It seems most shoes I try on either have one particular spot (the same spot for all pairs and only on the left foot) right behind the arch on the side of the shoes that feels too narrow, almost as if I'm stepping on the rubber of the shoe. Commonly I also feel like the plastic decals that companies put on their shoes (e.g. Brooks Ghost 9). Others I have this issue where the shoe essentially creases from wear I walk. That's the issue I'm having now.
The shoes I have now fit great in all regards except for that one issue. On the right foot, and only the right foot, I can feel where the mesh of the shoe bends in when I'm walking in them (and running in them) and it becomes fairly uncomfortable because it feels as if something is rubbing every step.
Is this something that is somewhat common in shoes, and will go away after I wear them for a little while? Or do I need to get rid of these shoes and find another pair?
