I started running in the March of 2015. I ran my 1st marathon in at the Twin Cities Marathon in Oct 2016. I ran a 2:51:46. I just ran my second marathon at Fargo and ran 2:40:12. What will it take to work down to 2:30, or at least attempt to get there?
For TCM i used a Jack Daniels plan and maxed out at 75 miles. For Fargo I used a Pfitzinger plan and maxed out at 98. I like to mix in in half marathons and 10ks as my other races.
Any advice would be appreciated.
