Ed Whitlock 2:54:49 marathon at 73 years old
Jarmila 1:53.28 at age 32. Will never be touched.
All of Daniel Skandera's records. He's with out a doubt the greatest runner on the planet right now relative to age.
Mondo Duplantis easily
Agreed. Interesting that the girls and boys marathon records from age 11-14 are nearly identical.
I honestly feel like Lagat's records are some of the most impressive and will likely outlast many. Clearly a top tier talent at any age that had the longevity to still produce world class times into the 40+ category. Very few 40+ class talents like Lagat will come along that havent been burned out and retired by their earlier successful careers.
The others while impressive are often set by nonfactors comparative to the world stage that are just waiting for someone else to come along with more talent and destroy them, similar to Ultras right now where if top talent ever actually focuses on it the records will go into free fall.
Lagat 13:06? Most guys don't run that at 25 anymore
Lagat's

Good points. I wasn't even thinking about him in terms of being an age-grouper.

B Miller 1:51 at 14
Wesley Paul had an impressive run, 3:00 marathon age 8, 2:47 age 11
