I am a distance runner and want some advice on whether or not I should get a sports massage. If you recommend one, how far away from a big race do you recommend? I stay pretty injury free except normal soreness now and again. My body feels tight regardless of the amount of stretching I do with and without a roller.
On a related note, I don't use my arms as well as I should because I keep them up high. Even though I realize this is a problem, I have a hard time correcting it. Do you think a massage might help me run looser and allow my arms to come down like they should? Do you have suggestions on how to correct my form that would have quick results?
