GLOBAL WARMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's actually been postponed two days... it was scheduled to start on Thursday (3-day meet).
Each of those snowflakes is special and shouldn't be shamed and blamed for delaying the meet.
Yeah 2 day delay, having only finals on sunday, there were cancelations of high school graduations as well. So kids have to choose going to track or graduations
Graduation or state meet -- oh well, the stars didn't align this time. Just like the real world. Those seniors who have to choose are getting a good life lesson. Life's a be-atch sometimes.
Hey, I had to work on Super Bowl Sunday and missed a stunning Patriots win! Waaaaahhhhhhhh!
The link to the news item did note:
"The revised schedule has a time slot at 11:50 a.m. on Sunday to honor those seniors who will be missing their graduation. They are encouraged to wear caps and gowns. Their coaches must check in to the inquiry table in order to participate."
That's a decent gesture, I'd say.

Interesting juxtaposition in tone. You come off as a jerk in the first part, but actually appear to support opportunity to recognize seniors.
Payback to all those Hillary voters.

I also have an interesting juxtaposition in skin tone, but that's from falling asleep at the state track meet with my back against a wooden picket fence on a sunny afternoon.
Hey, what can I say? In general, I'm a juxtaposer. I went to see my shrink recently because part of me felt like I was a tepee, and another part like a wigwam.
"Relax," said the psychologist, "you're too tents. And you have an interesting juxtaposition in tone."
Abdi abda, best of luck in your psychology career.

Not the Colorado State Meet, naturally.

Tell us about your childhood. You sound distressed and triggered.
Snow this time of year is not common but not unheard of either.

What motivated you to post this?
"You're too tents"?
Meh. Seen worse. We had a foot of snow on the ground on Day 2 at the Alberta High School Champs a few years ago. It delayed the meet a few hours. Meet got done on Saturday. No one died.
Was this at the Lethbridge meet or the one before that one?
Couldn't they just clear the field? And the track is just wet.
I know where the snowflakes are, and they aren't in those photos.

Did you really just try to compare graduation and the state meet to your crap job and a televised event? 😂🤣😂🤣
I just had to chime in to say that if you skip the state meet to walk at graduation, you are a huge dork and need to get your priorities in order. You still graduate whether you walk or not. You only get one chance to compete.
Hopefully it will convince all that Californians and Texans that keep coming here to move back home.
California state meet is two days. How is Colorado three? Time to scale back.
