Greetings Eager Runners,
I am an incoming HS junior and I'm trying to become a better runner. Once my 2 week break ends, I plan on joining a fitness group that does agilities drills for an hour then weights for an hour. I will do this twice a week. Here's a typical planned summer week:
Monday- Intervals (200s or 400s)
Tuesday AM- Agilities and Weights
Tuesday PM- Swim (cross training) or Recovery Run
Wednesday- Intervals (800s or tempo) or Race (2 miles)
Thursday AM- Agilities and Weights
Thursday PM- Swim (cross training) or Recovery Run
Friday- OFF
Saturday- Long Run
Sunday- OFF
Thoughts? Any feedback is appreciated. I'm trying to become the best runner possible.
