Runners World posted an article yesterday stating in summary that the Vaporflys are shown to be 4% more efficient than the Zoom Streak 6 AND the adios boost 2. These were 5 min tests done on, I assume, a treadmill
I am a big fan of TPU ( love most Boost shoes and the Saucony freedom), but admittedly I don't really feel the benefit of TPU on the treadmill. The real benefit is when running on harder asphalt.
Question- has it been shown that shoe efficiency from treadmill data can be extrapolated to asphalt?
