I say DNF for all 3. That would be epic and a Nike fail.
Anyone got the latest pacer schedule ?
I've got a source on the ground in Manza. I asked them what he thought the instructions were for the runners. Do they go for broke and run 1:59:59 for as long as possible or back off when they get tired.
He said he thoguht there were only 3 possibilities.
1) Sub -2
2) Sub 2:02:57
3) DNF
If you can't accomplish 1 and 2. drop.
im suprised how sharp that turn was at about 2:45
Paula talks like she's bobbing her head.
The laser shows that they are in fact being marked to stay within the car and windscreen's slipstream, so that has got to be their ace in the hole--the pacers are some drafting but the windscreen more so. On a side note, it looks a bit windy with some swirling stuff around them.
This is way too Tron!
Green line for sub 2 pace projecting at their feet in real time????

The only thing better would be sharks with lasers on their heads. Is that too much to ask?

Tesla as the pace car so gas exhaust fumes don't bother the runners!
They've been using electric vehicles at major marathons for a while now. Beijing 2008 was all EV.
and they are very close to the car but not within 2m or so.
Two drivers in the front car.... one to steer and the other to keep the pace lol
They need to go faster and get some time in the bank.
No 1 mile split time given?????
My major complaint is there is no distance on the screen. And no projected pace. How do we know what the pace is? Is the green line the 1:59:59 pace. WHat happens when they fall off.
My biggest question is - who the hell is measuring this. How do we know the course hasn't been rigged? I sure hope someone from the IAAF and rival shoe companies are there.
why the fuk are they cutting to the promo
I should have expected the commercials
Uh, this should be the half hr program BEFORE the run.
