so heres the scoop. indoor season ran 4:26.01 full mile. (4:24.XX conversion) this outdoor season I went and ran 9:38 in the 3200 in a dual meet completely solo, and ran a massive 15 second PR. I had also split a 2:02 the week before in the 4x800. Had spent the beginning portion of the season running events around the 1600 (800, 3200, 400) and ran a 53 400. Assumed that my speed was good enough and my endurance to run a good PR in the 1600. Regardless of being alone at a very fast invite for the win, I still only ran 4:29. Somehow, came back to win the 800 in 1:58, beating the NB National Champion in the 3200 while doing it. So I don't understand how I didn't run a faster time? my 400, 800, and 3200 all suggest I'm capable of running much faster, so what gives? Why is that event not panning out, but the rest are?
